Welcome to the first installment of this blog!  Working to earn $2300 to participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure is a big feat, but we are in it to win it!!  

One of the most amazing things I've done in this life was to be a part of something so much bigger than me, and so beneficial to mankind.  I have met wonderful women and men, survivors, fighters, mothers, daughters, brothers, fathers, sons, sisters so many people together to fight for this cure. 

I walk for my grandmother who passed when I was a child and also for my sweet friend, Katie, who has stood up to this cancer and fought it head on, living as a survivor and inspiration to all those around her.  This year I am especially excited to have her join our team! We also have a new travelling member all the way in from Colorado, Sean, and given that he enjoys walking 20 miles for fun, this should be a treat for him too!!  Very excited to have him joining our adventure this year as well.

I can't wait to spend another 3 day weekend with amazing people!!

But FIRST, there is still a little issue at hand, raising $2300!!!
